Experience of working within a multi-academy trust (MAT).  I am familiar with the clerking and governance process across primary and secondary school settings.

I understand the Academy Trust Handbook and am aware of how the scheme of delegation extends across multiple settings.  I am also familiar with GovernorHub.

I have an up-to-date DBS and am aware of safeguarding and the prevent duty.  I have also completed training on cyber-security in schools. 

I understand the importance of local authority and SEN engagement, in supporting children with EHCPs / additional needs and their families.

In order to ensure that education standards and the curriculum evolve, I appreciate the value of ongoing quality assurance and evaluation.

With considered placement, I acknowledge the added value of AI.   However I want my work to reinforce that technology should not replace human relationships. 

I have experience of recruiting and working with people who commit their time for free.  I understand the unique perspective and oversight this group occupy, being able to question and constructively challenge leadership.

I have recently joined the management committee of a local, non-profit nursery.  I also offer examination scribing and invigilation services to a local secondary school.
